Enquiries in the first month - before, the website brought in none
One firm, one region, two months. Your result depends on your trade, your area and your competition - what's realistic for your firm is what the job check works out.
Julian, owner of Alles4You
“The enquiries have completely changed: people aren't hunting for a cheap price any more, they want someone who takes care of everything.”
The starting point
The previous agency website brought in no customers over two years, and no ads ran despite advertising budget being charged. I rebuilt the website, campaigns and Google profile. Instalments spread the cost of the new build alongside the previous contractual commitments.
The result
Eleven enquiries in the first month led to one job. I then restructured the campaigns and adjusted click prices weekly; the next job followed within four days. Customers began asking for combined clearance, cleaning and refurbishment work. The owner estimated a 50–60% enquiry-to-job rate. As of August 2026, the second month of management. His estimate is separate from the measured figures for month one.
What the firm wanted
Customers through his own website instead of working as a subcontractor for other firms. Alles4You built up as a name of its own in the Berlin market.
The honest limit
One of the eleven enquiries became a job in month one, with €1,000 of ad spend. Two months are not a long-term trend. At the time documented, staffing was the main constraint; more work would have required more coordination. This is a Berlin project, with its actual costs shown in euros.
What you can take from this
Keep ad spend and management fees separate.
The previous provider retained part of the ad budget as margin. With teho, the stated ad spend goes directly to Google. The management fee is separate: the UK ads-only offer is £175 for monthly ad spend up to £1,750; above that, the fee is 10% of total ad spend, excluding VAT.
Your ad account and data should stay with you.
Leaving the previous contract incurred further costs. A new agreement should make the term, access and handover clear. With teho, the ad account is in your name and ongoing management is cancellable monthly.
Match the budget to your capacity.
The business was at capacity and looking for a foreman, so the daily budget stayed at its existing level. Suitable work and available capacity should guide the budget decision.
